Have taken some photos at the airport using my handphone but cannot download to computer (forget to bring along the connector) Share with you all next time yah! This time Baby Moon has encountered the air pressure and cause her ears painful 15 minutes before landed. Wow, you can imagine how loud she cried and luckily the flight landed very soon.

The first funny thing she made was at the airport. Yah, she always pronounce Barney as “Babi” and I have corrected her many times but still useless. In the airport, I just happened to see a big toy – Barney and was so excited to show her the big toy. And guess what, she said, “Babi”! Oh No! She shouldn’t say that word in front of the Malay shopkeepers. Luckily they were not angry but laughed at her. Heehee..

Baby Moon enjoyed her new environment and forgot about her favourite toys – Barney and Doraemon for the first two days. BUT.. she remembered and missed her toys friends since third day and we have to get her a new Doraemon. See, this is her new Doraemon and Mummy Moon’s toys.

Baby Moon’s messages to:

Daddy: Hello daddy, I miss you only when mummy reminds me. I’m so busy. Grandpa drives me to market early in the morning and we have many places to go even in the afternoon or night time. I don’t need to walk and take train but can sit comfortly inside the car. Heheee.. The only thing is the weather is very hot here and no air-con.

Jiu Jiu (Uncle): Hello Jiu Jiu, I didn’t miss you because here got lots of Jiu Jiu (Uncles). They plays with me and I’m happy playing with them. I want them to feed me and also help to dress me up after shower. They watch VCD with me and also play ball with me.

Ah Yi (Aunty): Hi Ah Yi, I miss you sometimes but here also got elder Ah Yi (Aunty) to talk with me. Although she is not so funny like you but she also sayang me a lot. She gave me Doraemon stickers and toys to play. You must be very lonely without me at home! Haha..

Don’t miss me too much and I will be back very soon..

Our reasons to Singapore Flyer:

It’s the world’s largest observation wheel.

It’s the only place to see Singapore’s magnificent cityscape.
As the wheel turns, we’ll be treated to a visual 360° feast of iconic and historical landmarks and views from the Marina Bay to the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place and the Padang. There is no other place in Singapore that offers these breathtaking, panoramic views.

We chose to go at noon time so that could take photos for the views. According to my friends, night views also very beautiful.

Guess what was Baby Moon doing in the 165 metres height? Haa.. drinking her milk!

Singapore Zoo is a very fun place to go with children. It opens 365 days a year and is a must see destination on every visitor’s attractions list. The opening hours is from 8.30am to 6.00pm and the entrance fees is Adult S$18.00, Child (3-12 years old) S$9.00.

Yesterday was Sunday and when we reached there at 10.30am, there was a very long queue for tickets. While waiting for Daddy to get the tickets, we took some photos in front of the Zoo.

There are many animals inside the Zoo. We took the photos as a teaching materials at home. Enjoy some of the photos!

Tips on Enjoying the Zoo If Go With Children

• Protect you and your children from sunlight. Apply some sunblock or skin protection for your children to avoid the sunlight. Some areas are exposed to the sun which your children may expose themselve too much under the hot sun.
• Rain. You may want to bring an umbrella or raincoat if there is a sudden rain. However, don’t worry too much because many parts of the zoo are sheltered.
• Insect repellant. You may want to bring the insect repellant with you to make sure the mosquitoes stay away from you and your children.
• Map. The zoo map is always available and make sure you get a map as you enter. There are many presentations, token feeding sessions, photography opportunities and many activities that sure you don’t want to miss out.
• Drinks. You can always get foods and drinks inside the zoo. However, if you are going with your children, it’s a good idea to bring drinking water and feed them regularly as the weather is warm and they sweat a lot during the walk.
• Tram. When you are tired walking, take the tram and enjoy the ride.
• Strollers and wagons. Zoo has provided strollers and wagons which parents can rent for their children.

It’s so much fun and We would definitely bring Baby Moon to Singapore Zoo again!

1. Swimsuit – You can go with or without swimsuit. Some people prefer to have own T-shirt and short pants rather than swimsuit. It depends on your own comfort and if you would like to swim in the sea, it is advisable to put on the swimsuit so that you’ll not end up feeling really weighed down and heavy when you get out. I’ve bought Baby Moon a new swimsuit and I always feel that little girl in a small piece of swimsuit always looks cute. She is very excited when tried it at home. However, when we reach the beach, she doesn’t want to get change.

2. Sunscreen – This is the most important item that you shouldn’t be ignored and must bring along. Too much sun can damage and dry our skin. Apply sunscreen with a SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of at least 30 for children. Paying attention to your kids from time to time and try to avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours of the sun’s rays (between 10am and 3pm)

3. Beach Towels – Bring along beach towels for each family members and it’s always a good idea to bring along extras.

4. Clean Clothes – This is the must bring items and for you to clean up and get changed before heading home.

5. Shampoos – Hair and body shampoos so that you and your children feel clean and comfort after the salted water.

6. Sand & Water Toys – This is a must if you have kids. By nature, kids are active and love digging and building in the sand. I bought sand & water toys for Baby Moon and she enjoys the toys very much.

7. Drinks & Snacks – You can always bring your own food and beverages and have a picnic there. Do remember to bring lots of water, especially if the temperature is high, to avoid dehydration. Prepare your kids favourite food because they easily feel tired and hungry when playing around at the seaside.

8. Plastic Bags – The plastic bags are useful for the wet suits and shoes. You also need plastic bags for the leftover food or rubbish. Do bring several plastic bags along.

9. Camera – To capture the happy and sunny memories. The waterproof disposable cameras and disposable cameras for underwater use are normally available at the beach. You could also bring along your own camera but don’t bring an expensive camera because you might not have full attention for your camera when playing at the seaside.

10. Formula and Milk Bottles – If you are going with your toddler, do remember to bring along the formula and milk bottles. My Baby Moon always needs to have the formula before nap and we would bring along her formula every long hours outing. Today she is very tired and hungry after playing at the seaside for about two hours. She quickly get into sweet nap after taking the formula.

My Baby Moon seems like doesn’t like the sand, she keeps on cleaning away the sand on her legs and hands.

When we reach the shopping center, I see a taxi. I want to be a taxi driver! The taxi is so cute and beside me have a bear bear.. Eh.. How come the taxi without window??? Ok.. I want to try another car. Eeeee.. this is “Snoopy Car”? Phorrrn Phooorrrnnnn… I press the button and there is a sound.. So funny!

I just be a driver for few minutes because daddy told me there are still other little friends want to be drivers also. I should let the chance for others. Hmm.. I’m a good Baby Moon so I give chance for others to try the taxi and snoopy car.

Daddy promised to bring me out next time if I behave. Hmm.. Ehhh.. let me think first! Haa..
